From the original master to high-quality remastering.

This is an extraordinary gem in Korean popular music, capturing both musicality and commercial success. Despite the limitations of a remake album, Kim Kwang-seok achieved musical excellence surpassing even original songs, including his own.

The album features a total of 11 tracks, representing the legacy of Korean modern folk music as envisioned by Kim Kwang-seok, paying homage to the masterpieces of Korean folk music. The first track is Han Dae-su's "Wind and Me," considered the pioneer of modern folk, previously sung by Kim Min-gi.
Following that are songs from the early 1970s such as Kim Ui-cheol's "Unfortunate" (widely known as "Following the Clouds in the Sky"), Yang Byung-jip's "Car Going on Two Wheels," and from the 1980s, Lee Jung-sun's "The Day She First Cried," Baek Chang-woo's "My Person," Kim Chang-ki of the Zoo's "Being Forgotten," "Changing," and Yoo Joon-yeol's "Friend in a Cage." In the 1990s, there's Kim Mok-kyeong's "Story of a 60-Year-Old Couple" and Han Dong-heon's "My Song." The grand finale is Kim Kwang-seok's "Love That Was Too Painful Was Not Love." The musicality of Jo Dong-ik, who handled the sessions and arrangements, shines brightly in this album.
Kim Kwang-seok, who contributed to the culture of live concerts in small theaters in Daehangno in the 1990s, devoted himself to reviving the flame of modern folk music overshadowed by hip-hop, dance, and ballads. His efforts to reintroduce folk music to the contemporary young generation, who were disconnected from it, were a significant achievement.
