To the Place Where the Light Leads

One morning, a phone call from a real estate agent changed the life of an architect named Lumiere based in Paris. He finds out that he was chosen because he is an architect when he visits a historic mansion on Cité Island that can never be bought with ordinary office worker's money for a bargain. He is fascinated by the unique hospital building that he built by renovating a broken medieval monastery when he is asked to come to a nursing hospital in Switzerland to meet his unwell homeowner.

But without the time to appreciate the beauty, strange and fantastic things happen in an instant like lightning strikes. As if he had made a promise on the day of his visit, the secret clues hidden in the building begin to appear in Lumiere's hands one by one, starting with the overwhelming light swimming in the building. Lumière, the owner of a nursing hospital and the owner of a mysterious letter from the old man, Peter, cannot overcome his curiosity as an architect, so he sets out to find out what the secret of the building the letter points to.

어느 날 아침 부동산으로부터 걸려온 전화 한 통이 파리의 건축가 뤼미에르의 인생을 바꿔버렸다. 그는 평범한 직장인의 돈으로는 절대 살 수 없는 시테 섬의 유서 깊은 저택이 헐값에 나와 찾아간 곳에서, 자신이 건축가이기 때문에 선택되었다는 사실을 알게 된다. 몸이 편치 않은 집 주인을 만나러 스위스의 요양병원으로 와 달라는 부탁을 받고 한달음에 달려간 그는 부서진 중세 수도원을 개축해 지은 독특한 병원 건물의 매력에 빠져든다.

그러나 아름다움을 감상할 새도 없이, 기이하고 환상적인 일들이 낙뢰를 치듯 순식간에 벌어진다. 그가 방문한 날에 약속이라도 한 듯 건물에 압도적인 빛의 유영이 펼쳐지는 것을 시작으로, 건물에 감춰져 있던 비밀의 단서가 하나씩 뤼미에르의 손 안에 드러나기 시작한다. 집 주인이자 요양병원의 소유주인 노인 ‘피터’로부터 의문의 편지를 건네받은 뤼미에르는 건축가로서의 호기심에 못 이겨 편지가 가리키고 있는 건물의 비밀이 무엇인지 찾아 나서게 된다.
