Winner of the 20th Korean Music Awards for Best R&B/Soul Album - PRIVATE PINK

A.TRAIN is a musician who expresses instability through music and sings about pain. As both a comprehensive producer and performer, he continuously strives to excel in both roles. His work, which distinguishes itself from typical R&B musicians through unique music composition and messages, has firmly established him as a leading figure in the alternative R&B scene in South Korea.

His first full-length album [PAINGREEN], which boldly tackles themes of 'death' and 'pain,' along with its title track 'HURT,' received significant attention, being nominated in two categories—Best R&B/Soul Album and Song—at the 2021 Korean Music Awards.

Following this, he released his second full-length album [PRIVATE PINK], which portrays the self-healing process of openly revealed wounds. This album won the Best R&B/Soul Album award at the 2023 Korean Music Awards, demonstrating his musical prowess. This recognition came with praise such as "expanding the spectrum of friendly pop music," and "an album that encompasses the genre's authenticity, contemporaneity, and vision, marking a milestone for both the artist and the Korean R&B scene."

We, the living, reveal our inner flesh, pink before the blood seeps into the wounds.
By deliberately exposing this private color, we extend a hand.
"Let's live together."

As we trace the roots of green-hued instability and low-threshold pain responses,
lighting up the abyss with a revolving lantern and groping around,
we may come to accept our whole selves.
We may be able to loosen undeserved chasms.

When the fruit forms within the scars left by wounds,
we will then dance in the self-proclaimed pink hue.

[Design Notes]
The design evokes a sense of beauty that is also unfamiliar and uncomfortable. The text is arranged vertically from left to right, an unconventional but quickly adaptable format. This mirrors our minds, wounds, and scars that need to be looked into.

Inside the sturdy single outer sleeve, there is an inner sleeve engraved with 'a heart shattered and tangled in vines.' Inside this inner sleeve is a dark green-colored record. Additionally, the lyric sheet is provided separately, visualizing the lines laid out in the lyrics.
