Alien: I Love Songs Picture Book

"ALIEN" is the first solo track by AKMU's (Akdong Musician) Lee Su-hyun, written and composed by her brother, Lee Chanhyuk, for his sister. The song is filled with inventive and sparkling imagination and a bright energy throughout. ALIEN is a lyrical picture book based on the song, which captures the imaginative lyrics penned by the multi-talented artist, Lee Chan-hyuk, who is not only a singer and songwriter but also an author.

The book features illustrations by Lee Yoon-woo, who was named the 2015 Bologna Illustrator of the Year and won the Korean Andersen Award in the Arts category. His delicate expressions and flexible imagination add depth to the vivid and energetic lyrics, bringing the fantastical world of ALIEN to life. This collaboration between Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Yoon-woo results in an energetic and heartwarming picture book that gives readers—both children and adults—a sense of rediscovery and empowerment, encouraging them to find themselves and rise again.

2015년 볼로냐 올해의 일러스트레이터로 선정, 한국 안데르센상 미술 부문 대상 수상 작가인 이윤우 작가가 기발하고 에너지 넘치는 가사에 섬세한 표현과 유연한 상상력을 더해 <에일리언>의 환상적인 세계를 구현했다. 이찬혁 작가와 이윤우 작가의 협업을 통해 아이에서부터 성인에 이르기까지 누구에게나 잃었던 자신을 찾고 다시 일어날 힘을 주는 에너지 넘치는 사랑스런 그림책이 완성된 것이다.
