Daily Webtoon Drawing: Oriental Fantasy

It is a drawing book composed of 60 oriental fantasy characters by webtoon artists who are actively serializing from Kakao or other platforms.This book helps analyzing the character style, various events, and situations of popular webtoons so that prospective artists who dream of becoming webtoon artists can practice easily anytime, anywhere.

The book is divided into three parts. The first part of the book explains the definition of webtoons, the recent trends of webtoons, the characteristics of popular works, and teaches the basic skills of webtoons to prospective webtoon artists who are new to webtoons. 현재 카카오 등에서 연재하는 현업 웹툰 작가들이 인기 웹툰의 캐릭터 스타일과 다양한 사건, 상황을 분석하여 웹툰 작가를 꿈꾸는 예비 작가들이 언제 어디에서나 쉽고 간편하게 연습할 수 있도록 약 60개의 동양 판타지 캐릭터를 넣어 구성한 드로잉 책이다.

이 책은 총 세 부분으로 나뉘어 있다. 책의 앞부분에는 웹툰의 정의, 최근 웹툰 경향, 그리고 동양 판타지 장르의 어제와 오늘, 최근 인기 작품의 특징 등을 핵심만 간추려 설명하여 웹툰을 처음 접하는 예비 작가들에게 웹툰의 기본기를 알려준다. 그리고 1부에서는 동양 판타지 웹툰에 등장하는 캐릭터와 그 캐릭터를 따라 그려보는 데 중점을 두었다. 현업 작가들의 세심한 코칭도 함께 실었다.

2부에서는 동양 판타지 캐릭터와 스토리를 구체적으로 보여주면서 사건과 대사까지 상상해보는 활동으로 구성했다. 도형화 연습도 따로 연습해볼 수 있어 웹툰의 기본기를 익히는 데 좋은 기회가 된다. 웹툰 작가를 꿈꾸거나 취미로 웹툰을 시작하려는 독자들에게 안성맞춤이다.
