It is well known Tezuka Osamu has drawn over 150 thousand pages of manga yet some works have never been properly published. Most of those were published in the Gakunenshi magazine and capture Tezuka’s lifelong passion. Some well known titles such as “Astro Boy” and “Kimba the White Lion” and “Unico” are included as the Gakunenshi versions. Although most Gakunenshi works are printed in vibrant colors, due to cost, this publication uses single ink printing. This collection gathers many of Tezuka’s unpublished works from the beginning to the end of his career along with the original pages of the trace versions, Tezuka’s own attempted pages to publication, newly discovered unpublished pages. This collection contains Tezuka’s work for all fans, new and hardcore.
