Leafie: A Hen Into the Wild: Animation Picture Book

Since its publication in May 2000, the 〈Leafie: A Hen Into the Wild〉 has received steady love from readers and established itself as a representative work of Korean children’s literature. This beloved story has now been newly released as an animated picture book. As if capturing scenes directly from the moving animation, the book combines the original’s deep literary quality with short, concise text, delicately vibrant depictions of nature, and dramatic yet humorous characters.

The story beautifully portrays the life of Leafie, a hen who leaves the chicken coop with the dream of hatching an egg and witnessing the birth of a chick.
