Her cherished and beloved twelve songs

Lee Eun-mi's second remake album, "Twelve Songs," is a collection of twelve songs that she enjoyed performing and personally held dear, reinterpreted in her own unique style. The selection of songs appeals to analog sensibilities, and the recording process is precisely aligned with the desired sound direction. Anticipation was high for the release of the album on LP format, given the solid foundation of the original recordings. With meticulous recording work, solid remastering, and the singer's clear intention in expressing her sound, this exemplary album fulfills the satisfaction of many listeners, delivering the sound they desire, even now.

Recorded in the legendary LA studio "The Village," where albums by renowned artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, and Steely Dan were recorded, this album was produced while the music industry was primarily focused on the CD format. Despite this, the album retains a strong focus on analog nuances. As a result, at the time of its release, the album was acclaimed not only by Lee Eun-mi's regular fans but also by hi-fi audio enthusiasts for its exceptional recording quality.

The album, originally released on CD in 2007, indeed contained twelve remake songs, as the title suggests. However, due to various reasons during the LP production process, only ten songs could be included. This was the most regrettable aspect of this project, and as a small consolation, providing the original album's complete tracks on a bonus CD could be seen as a humble excuse for those who purchased the LP version.
