■ Description

Park Hee-jung's second poetry collection contains nineteen poems, each containing the author's childhood emotions. Despite a childhood filled with regrets, beautiful memories emerge when recalled. The author cherishes these precious memories. In childhood, no matter how difficult things were, parents never forgot to buy new clothes before holidays. Those oversized clothes, worn folded over several times, were always a delight to wear. Memories of bustling markets, where mother and I tried on clothes, still bring joy to my heart. When autumn arrives and it's time to change the door curtain, mother used to arrange maple leaves on the window sill. The color of the maple leaves peeking through the crooked doorframe was truly exquisite.

박희정 작가의 두번째 동시집으로, 열아홉 개 시편들 속에 저자의 어릴 적 마음이 담겨 있다. 아쉬움 많은 어린 시절이었지만, 떠올리면 입안에 단물이 고이는 아름다운 기억들. 저자는 소중한 추억을 간직하고 있다. 어린 시절 부모님은 아무리 어려워도 명절에 앞서 새 옷 사주는 걸 잊지 않으셨다. 헐렁해서 몇 번을 접어 입어도 좋기만 했던 때때옷. 사람들로 북적이는 시장통에서 엄마랑 이 옷, 저 옷 만져보고 입어보던 기억이 지금도 마음을 즐겁게 한다. 가을이 되어 방문을 새로 바를 때면 엄마는 창호지 위에 단풍잎을 포개곤 하셨다. 비뚤어진 문살 사이로 드러나는 단풍 빛깔이 참 고왔다.
