Standard

The term "standard" or the absence of any special designation indicates the basic version. 

This standard version typically includes a photobook in the case of K-pop albums.

 

Compact / Digipak / Jewel 

These are what most people envision when they think of a traditional CD case. 

There are no meaningful difference between them, as what they're called is really up to the manufacturer.

 

Compact

Compact CDs typically come in paper sleeves.

 

Digipack

Digipaks are slightly more flexible in terms of size, often being the same size as Compacts and Jewels, but sometimes a tad larger.

Like Compacts, Digipaks also utilize paper sleeves for housing the CD.

 

Jewel

Often referred to as Jewel Case, these are distinguishable by their clear plastic cases.

 

 

 

Digital Albums

Digital albums, often referred to as platforms or smart albums, typically utilize QR codes or NFC technology and require dedicated apps for access. 

By scanning the QR code or tagging the NFC card with a compatible device, users can easily download the music. These digital albums resemble miniature CD albums and are often designed to double as keyrings.

These albums provide comprehensive features, including lyrics, album information, and multilingual pronunciation support, particularly tailored to match Korean pronunciation. 

Beyond music, they offer diverse content such as photos, audio, video, AR, and VR experiences. 

The biggest difference compared to the traditional albums is that they continuously update related content even post-release. 

Moreover, not only their sales contribute to Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart) and Hanteo Chart figures, but they also are showcasing a commitment to environmental sustainability by minimizing components and promoting ESG values.

※ Jacket/Components/Packaging Condition

⚝ Due to the production/shipping process, slight wrinkles, corner dents, and splitting may occur on the jacket,
and the inner sleeve may split due to contact with the disc. 
Products with visible defects on the exterior cannot be returned or exchanged once opened.

✩ The disc label may not be smoothly attached due to the production process,

and the outer packaging plastic wrap is not covered by the quality guarantee.

✩ Most Japanese-made LPs do not have the outer plastic wrap sealed.

✩ Digital download codes may be discontinued by the manufacturer without prior notice.

 

※ Playback Defects

If you are using a turntable without anti-skate adjustment feature (typically all-in-one models), 
playback abnormalities may occur when playing tracks with significant dynamic sound variations. 

Please note that returns or exchanges are not possible for playback defects caused by device issues. 

We recommend playback on a device with anti-skate adjustment capability.

Disc playback may not be smooth due to static electricity and dust. 

Using specialized products to remove them usually resolves the issue.

Accumulation of dust on the needle may also cause playback issues.

 

※ Disk Exterior Defects

Due to the characteristics of vinyl production involving heat, the disk surface may have slight warping or wobbling. 
If playback is unstable, using a stabilizer can provide more stable playback.

To minimize distortion in playback frequency range and maintain consistency during repeated playback, 
some disks have a smaller center hole diameter. 
If it doesn't fit the turntable spindle, adjusting the center hole with specialized products can resolve the issue.

Some disks may have minor scratches or imperfections on the surface, or the print surface may not be pristine. 
These are not considered defects in the product. 
However, if there are playback abnormalities, returns or exchanges due to defects are possible.

 

※ Color Discs

In the following cases, which are not considered defects, returns or exchanges after opening are not possible:

The color of the disc may differ from the web image and the actual color.
Due to the nature of color discs, there may be color variations in each album during the production process.
During the production process of color discs, mixing of different color dyes may result in stains, smudges, and spots.

 

※ Return/Exchange Policy

When requesting a return or exchange due to defects, we may request a video of the opening process to confirm the defect. 
If a video is not provided, returns or exchanges may be restricted. 
Please contact our customer service with relevant photos, videos, and the model name of the playback device attached.

LPs are susceptible to damage to the jacket during frequent shipping and are difficult to resell. 
Therefore, we kindly ask for careful consideration before making a purchase.
