[My First Summer, Wanju] Commentary Artbook & Novel Box Set

『My First Summer, Wanju』 has been newly reborn through a collaboration between its author Kim Keum-hee, and Park Jeongmin, CEO of Muze. This box set consists of two distinctive books and a variety of special items.

One volume is a charming novel in which Kim Keum-hee has delicately refined the original “listening novel” First Summer, Wanju into a “reading novel.” While the listening version allowed readers to imagine the characters’ voices, sound effects, and background music interwoven with the text, this reading edition conveys the colors and nuances of those sounds vividly and richly through prose alone.

The other volume is an art book that feels as though Park Jung-min has brought the world of the novel into physical form. It features scenes of Wanju Village captured through his lens during travels across the country, reflections by the actors who recorded 『My First Summer, Wanju』, behind-the-scenes stories from the music video production, and photographs of works by participating exhibition artists. The green box—seemingly infused with the lush hues of Wanju Village itself—contains these two books along with a 2026 calendar featuring Park Jeongmin’s photographs of the “Forests of Wanju” and a hidden photo card, adding both emotion and delight to the set.

다른 한 권은 박정민 대표가 소설 속 세상을 책으로서 구현한 듯한 아트 북이다. 박정민이 전국 방방곡곡을 돌아다니며 렌즈에 담은 ‘완주 마을’의 풍경과 『첫 여름, 완주』를 녹음한 배우들의 대한 단상, 뮤직비디오 제작기, 전시 작가들의 작품 사진이 실려 있다. 초록빛 가득한 완주 마을의 색깔을 고스란히 재현한 듯한 녹색 박스에는 이 두 권의 책과 함께, 박정민이 찍은 ‘완주의 숲’ 사진이 실린 2026년 달력과 히든 포토카드 또한 들어 있어 감동과 재미를 더한다.
