Ewha Women's University Language Education Institute, leading in Korean language education, has developed a new communicative-centered Korean language textbook. This textbook maintains the institute's unique characteristics of communicative-centered learning, integrating speaking, listening, reading, and writing while presenting more effective and diverse teaching methods and learning content. Grade 2 consists of a total of 12 units, with units 2-1 covering units 1-6 and units 2-2 covering units 7-12. Each unit is further divided into three subsections to allow ample practice of various functions related to a single topic. Additionally, each unit includes a 'Culture' section to explore distinctive aspects of Korean culture while also comparing it with other cultures, providing learners with further practice in Korean. Moreover, at the end of each unit, a 'Vocabulary and Expression Check' section is included to allow learners to review the vocabulary and expressions learned in that unit. Listening materials are provided with QR codes in the relevant section of the textbook for immediate access, and learners can also download MP3 listening materials from the Ewha Women's University Publishing & Culture Institute website.
한국어 교육을 선도하는 이화여자대학교 언어교육원이 새롭게 개발한 의사소통 중심의 한국어 교재로, 이화여대 언어교육원의 고유한 특성인 의사소통 중심 학습과 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기의 통합성을 유지하면서도 더욱 효과적이고 다채로운 교수 방식과 학습 내용을 제시하고 있다. 1급은 총 12과로 구성되어 있으며, 1-1에는 1-6과, 1-2에는 7-12과가 수록되어 있다. 각 단원은 다시 세 개의 소단원으로 나누어 하나의 주제에 대해 다양한 기능을 충분히 연습할 수 있도록 하고, 각 단원마다 ‘문화’ 섹션을 넣어 특징적인 한국의 문화를 살펴봄과 동시에 다른 나라 문화와 비교하면서 한국어를 다시 한번 연습할 수 있게 했다. 또한 단원 마지막에는 ‘어휘와 표현 확인’ 섹션을 넣어 그 단원에서 배운 어휘와 표현들을 점검할 수 있도록 구성했다. 듣기 자료는 교재의 해당 부분에 QR 코드를 넣어 학습자가 바로 실행할 수 있도록 했으며, 이화여대출판문화원 홈페이지에서 듣기 자료 mp3를 다운받을 수도 있다.
