The album, themed around travel, was entirely recorded in the United States. The tracks are divided into four parts, representing a journey from the West Coast to the South, ultimately returning home.

Title Track:
1. "Thanks to" - A message of gratitude to important people.

Notable Tracks:
- "Groove Nice" and "Richiman Blues" - Originally featured in the previous album "Memphis Special" as live one-takes; now refined for this album.

 

Recording Sessions:

1. So Cal Session (Tracks 1-6):
- Recorded and mixed in Southern California, LA.
- Collaborated with Emmy Award-winning music director Michael Stern, known for his work on "Iron Man 2" and "The Notebook."

2. LV Session (Track 7):
- Recorded in Las Vegas at Battle Born Sound Studio and mixed at Sonic Rodeo Studio.
- The studio specializes in hip-hop and country, bringing an old-school sound that enriches the "Richiman in Las Vegas" vibe.

3. Memphis Session (Tracks 8-11):
- Recorded at the legendary Royal Studio in Memphis with Grammy-winning producer Boo Mitchell.
- Known for working on John Mayer's "Continuum" and albums by Bruno Mars and Silk Sonic.
- Featured harmonica by Felix Slim, a world blues competition winner, and piano and Hammond B3 organ by Bruce Katz, a judge at world blues competitions and pianist for the Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman.

4. Seoul Session (Track 12):
- A hidden track available only on CD and LP: "On the Blues (Extended)."
- Recorded at Richiman’s practice room in Sillim-dong, Seoul, capturing the band's post-tour reflections.
- A different version from the already released single.

 

 

Richiman and Groove Nice:

- Represented Korea at the 37th 2022 International Blues Challenge (2022IBC) in Memphis, advancing to the finals and placing in the Top 5 among about 160 teams.
- Completed a US tour in January 2023, performing in LA, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Clarksdale, Connecticut, and New York.
- Invited to perform at the Hartford Blues Festival in Connecticut in July-August 2023.
- Also performed at the Sakai Blues Festival in Osaka, Japan.
- Active in Korea, performing at the Seoul Blues Festival, Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival, Jarasum Jazz Festival, and more.
