The End of the Knot

The End of the Knot unfolds as a mystery through the intersecting stories of two characters: Lee In-woo, a detective who, after the sudden suicide of his father during an otherwise happy childhood, has long harbored suspicions that his mother may have been involved in the unclear circumstances of the death; and Park Hee-sook, a self-made businesswoman whose sole life goals are her company’s success and her son’s future—and who is determined never to let her son be seen as a murderer.

《매듭의 끝》은 ‘행복했던 유년시절에 일어난 갑작스런 아버지의 자살 이후, 오랫동안 아버지의 석연치 않은 죽음에 대한 용의자로 어머니를 의심하는 이인우 형사’와 ‘아들을 절대로 살인자로 만들 수는 없는, 인생의 목표는 오로지 회사와 아들의 성공뿐인 자수성가한 사업가 박희숙’이라는 두 모자(母子)의 이야기가 교차하며 미스터리를 이끌어 나간다.
