You'll Know Once You Taste It

This is the story of a sweltering day when the heat lingered all day long. As everyone wandered through the forest with wide, watermelon-shaped eyes, craving just one bite of watermelon, night fell. Not to be outdone, the snow tiger also scoured the entire forest in search of watermelon. At last, he came upon a perfectly round, ripe one.

"I'm not a watermelon. If you eat me, something terrible will happen!" the watermelon warned.

But the snow tiger scoffed at the warning and boldly replied, "I'll know once I taste it!" Then, without hesitation, he took a big bite…

Was the watermelon’s warning true? What kind of trouble awaits the snow tiger now?

하루 종일 푹푹 찌던 날, ‘수박 한 입만!’ 생각에 다들 눈이 수박처럼 둥그레져선 숲 이곳저곳을 헤매고 다니던 밤의 이야기이다. 눈 호랑이도 이에 질세라, 수박을 찾아 온 숲을 뒤지던 중, 마침내 동글동글 잘 익은 수박을 발견하게 된다. “난 수박이 아니야. 날 먹으면 큰일이 벌어진다!” 눈 호랑이는 수박의 말 따위엔 아랑곳하지 않고 “먹어 보면 알지!” 대차게 대꾸한 뒤, 한 입에 먹어 버리고 마는데……. 수박의 예언은 진실이었을까? 눈 호랑이 앞에는 어떤 큰일이 기다리고 있을까?
