HEXAPODA ORIGAMI: An Origami Insect Encyclopedia

(사)한국종이접기협회 소속 10명의 종이접기 창작위원이 함께 만든 신간으로, 자연 속 곤충의 아름다움과 신비로움을 정교한 종이접기로 표현한 작품집이다. 수석창작위원을 비롯한 10명의 작가가 각자의 개성과 창작 역량을 담아 완성한 작품들은 곤충의 독특한 형태와 섬세한 구조, 생명력 넘치는 모습을 한 장의 종이로 구현해 냈다.

단순히 종이를 접는 것을 넘어, 실제 곤충을 관찰하고 그 특징을 세심하게 해석하여 새로운 작품으로 탄생시키는 창작 종이접기의 매력을 만나볼 수 있다. 특히 이 책에는 실제 곤충의 모습과 종이접기 작품을 비교해 볼 수 있는 화보, 작품에 대한 상세한 설명, 그리고 독자가 직접 작품을 완성할 수 있도록 구성한 꼼꼼한 종이접기 도면이 함께 수록되어 있다.

This new book is a collaborative work by ten origami artists from the Korean Origami Association. It is a collection of works that captures the beauty and mystery of insects in nature through intricate origami. Each of the ten artists, including the association’s senior creative artists, brings their own individuality and creative expertise to works that recreate the distinctive forms, delicate structures, and vibrant vitality of insects using nothing more than a single sheet of paper.
