Taekwondo prodigy Wan-seo, aspiring writer Ji-seong, fresh produce manager Seon-nyeo, strict construction foreman Yak-seon, and free-spirited hipster Gi-dong have one thing in common—they each receive an organ transplant from the same mysterious donor. Along with renewed health, they unexpectedly gain incredible superpowers linked to their transplanted organs.

After discovering one another through a unique mark, the five decide to form a team called Hi-FIVE. But with completely different personalities, abilities, and lifestyles, they can barely work together without arguments or chaos. Meanwhile, Yeong-chun, the charismatic leader of a cult who gains extraordinary powers after receiving a pancreas transplant, begins hunting down the other recipients in his quest to become an all-powerful being. The unlikely heroes must overcome their differences before they lose everything.
