Nineteen-year-old Se-jeong is taking her first steps into the world with 5 million won in hand. She has always dreamed of having a room of her own and works hard to find a place she can finally call home.

One day, a mysterious terminally ill woman named Eun-sook appears and claims that she is the person who saved Se-jeong's life when she was a child. Eun-sook then makes an unbelievable request: she asks Se-jeong to lend her the entire 5 million won for surgery.

Although Se-jeong cannot fully believe her story, she finds herself strangely drawn to Eun-sook. Caught between trust and suspicion, Se-jeong begins an unusual journey with the woman who claims to be her lifesaver.
