Next Actor Lee Hyeri

주산골영화제와 백은하 배우연구소가 공동 기획하여 박정민, 고아성, 안재홍, 전여빈, 변요한, 고민시, 최현욱 등 한국 영화의 미래를 책임질 배우들을 조명해 온 '넥스트 액터' 프로젝트가 여덟 번째 주인공으로 배우 이혜리를 호명한다.

이번 시리즈는 이 프로젝트가 처음으로 라이징 '아이돌 출신 배우'를 주목했다는 점에서 더욱 특별한 의미를 지닌다. K-POP 2세대 걸그룹 '걸스데이'로 화려하게 데뷔하여 대중문화 산업의 최전선에서 단련된 이혜리는 스크린과 브라운관을 넘나들며 자신만의 독보적인 영역을 구축해 왔다.

전 국민의 사랑을 받은 <응답하라 1988>의 성덕선부터, 독립영화의 날것 가득한 에너지를 받아쳐 내며 영화적 질감을 만들어낸 <판소리 복서>의 민지, 선한 리더십을 보여준 <청일전자 미쓰리>의 이선심, 그리고 청춘의 에너지를 폭발시킨 <빅토리>의 추필선과 파격적인 연기 변신을 선보인 <선의의 경쟁> 유제이까지. 이 책은 스타의 화려한 아우라 뒤에 숨겨진 '단단한 연기 노동자' 이혜리의 땀방울과 치열한 고민을 기록한다.

The “Next Actor” project, jointly planned by the Jusan-gol Film Festival and Baek Eun-ha Actor Research Institute, has highlighted actors who are expected to lead the future of Korean cinema, including Park Jung-min, Go Ah-sung, Ahn Jae-hong, Jeon Yeo-been, Byun Yo-han, Go Min-si, and Choi Hyun-wook. For its eighth featured artist, the project turns its spotlight on actress Lee Hyeri.

This series holds special significance as it marks the project’s first time focusing on a rising “idol-turned-actor.” Lee Hyeri, who made a dazzling debut as a member of the second-generation K-pop girl group Girl’s Day and was trained on the front lines of the popular culture industry, has built her own distinctive presence across both film and television.

From Sung Deok-sun in the beloved nationwide hit Reply 1988, to Min-ji in Pansori Boxer, where she matched the raw energy of independent cinema and helped create a unique cinematic texture; Lee Sun-sim in Miss Lee (Chungil Electronics Miss Lee), who demonstrated warm and positive leadership; Choo Pil-seon in Victory, who radiated the explosive energy of youth; and Yoo Je-yi in Friendly Rivalry, where she showcased a bold transformation in her acting—this book records the sweat and intense dedication of Lee Hye-ri, a “hardworking actor” hidden behind the dazzling aura of a star.
