A suspicious death, a missing colleague, a large insurance payout, and one man. Yuna (Oh A-yeon), a claims adjuster known for her cold and precise work, is also caring for her mother (Oh Min-ae), who is struggling with the absence of her father.

When a colleague suddenly resigns, Yuna is assigned to take over a life insurance case involving a client who died in a mysterious accident. The beneficiary of the large insurance payout is neither the deceased’s family nor relatives, but a laughter therapist named Soon-gyu (Park Yong-woo).

“Everything in this world is real. At the same time, it’s fake. What matters is the heart.”

As Yuna continues speaking with Soon-gyu, who claims to heal the emotional wounds in people’s hearts, she finds her own emotions slowly beginning to waver…
